You’ve got a dead battery. But no worries. This can be a quick fix.

All you need is a running car and a set of jumper cables. ”

First, park the two vehicles about an arm’s length apart.

Be sure neither of the vehicles are running and set the parking brake.”

Typically, the two terminals on each battery will be covered in red or black, with a + or – sign on top.”

Red Clamps are always first.

Attach both red clamp to the positive terminals, first on the dead battery and then on the working battery.”

Black Clamps are Second.

Attach the partnered Black clamp to negative terminal on the working battery.”

Attach the other black/negative cable clamp to an unpainted, metal part of the car. This can be a clean nut or bolt on the engine block.”

Start the working vehicle. Let it run for a minute or two.”

Now try starting the dead vehicle.”

Once running,disconnect the jumper cables, starting first with the black cable clamps, then second, with the red cable clamps.”
